when gonzo passed away, hank’s grandpa and his dad decided to write the story of this extraordinary dog—the story of his love, and of his heart.

they commissioned two artists to bring the story to life—anne lipscomb to illustrate it and rachel noto to bind it—and they presented it to hank’s bubbe, gonzo’s best friend, as a keepsake. a way to visit gonzo always.

because gonzo meant so much to hank, and because it’s what gonzo would have wanted, hank believed that everyone should be able to experience gonzo’s story. the digital copy will always be free to download from this shop.
